Mixed Generation was founded by Producer, Composer and Manager Charles L. Walton in 1994. The Mixed Generation is a group of highly talented recording artist that consist of musically talented youth professional artist, seasoned adult music professional artist and seasoned professional musicians that come together to create a new style of music that covers generations of listeners young and old.

The Mixed Generations voices are harmonic and unique to the music world with their own genre of music called PM (Positive Music) that crosses many genres. Their vocal ranges are amazing covering the music scale from Bass Vocal to High Soprano Vocals. Each member comes from a multitude of faith backgrounds. Whether solo or as a group the Mixed Generation's positive personalities reach out and can be heard through their professional musical sound and in their positive lyrical messages. Besides their musical talents the Mixed Generation has been conflict resolution counseling mediators.

Each Mixed G. member has been trained as certified television producers where they produced their own television series for 4 years.  As producers they operated cameras, audio, directing, character generation, video switching and were the actors in their Mixed G TV series dealing with issues that affect our communities youth.

Mixed Generation has received a multitude of plaudits; citations, proclamations, recognition from major Television Networks, U. S. Congress, Wisconsin Governors, City Common Council and even City of Milwaukee Mayors as well as County Executives. They were accredited in the early 2000's for aiding in the reduction of teen violence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for their conflict resolution counseling through role play demonstrations. The Mixed Generation has traveled the United States and parts of the world spreading peace, prayer and love through their inspirational/motivational music and song..
